Join me on a 5-day yoga river rafting vacation in southern Oregon

Picture of yoga on the Rogue RiverThis is the perfect vacation: An incredible canyon, lots of yoga and exercise, delicious healthy food, fun and interesting people, adventure, music around the campfire, wildlife, and more stars at night than you can imagine!  A typical day begins with morning stretching while the river guides cook a delicious, healthy breakfast. We get on the water and raft or kayak (your choice) until lunch. After lunch, we get back on the river for a few more hours before we reach camp. During the free time before dinner while the guides are preparing the hors d’oevres for our happy hour and cooking dinner, I lead a full Vinyasa yoga practice (shown in photo) with options for all levels. You could also choose to hike or just put your chair at the water’s edge and contemplate the canyon. After dinner, there’s music around the campfire and amazing stars. Each year, passengers on the yoga trips say it was the best vacation they ever had–really. There’s something magical about unplugging for 5 days, practicing yoga along the river while Bald Eagles and Osprey soar overhead, and getting so much exercise and fresh air. (See photos below).

People are already signing up for the 2012 trips. Contact EchoRiverTrips for information on next summer’s 2012 yoga rafting trips scheduled for July 11-15 and August 1-5, on the Rogue River. These are fabulous five day trips open to families, as the yoga is optional. Each trip is limited to 20 passengers plus the professional guides.
